View Full Tract ListThere is a credible report now that Most of the important Gulf states are now moving toward a new security order in the Mideast, led by Pakistan. Importantly, this includes Saudi Arabia, which sent a large delegation to the funeral of Iran’s Supreme Leader that was assassinated by Israeli and US bombs on February 28. This is the largest funeral in human history in terms of attendees.

What was meant as a “decapitation strike” that would result in an Iranian uprising against the Supreme Leader has backfired completely. Not only was there no uprising, but 14 million people turned out in Tehran for the funeral, along with millions more in other major cities. The most important factor, however, was the strengthened diplomatic power of Iran. World leaders from 100 countries showed up in solidarity with Iran, in spite of US pressure to boycott the funeral.
This was a historic demonstration of nations rejecting the Israeli war policy of killing national leaders. Because of US support for Israel, this was also a day of diplomatic disaster for the US government. President Trump is doing a fine job of dismantling the Deep State that rules the West. Whether this is being done on purpose or not is a matter of debate.
Trump has succeeded in breaking down the wall between Sunni Saudi Arabia and Shiite Iran. The Mideast now is moving away from US dependence for its security, after the recent war showed them that US military bases were missile magnets while being totally ineffective. About 14 US bases were destroyed, never to be rebuilt again.

The Memorandum of Understanding so far has shown that the US government is unable to fulfill the first point in the Memo: maintaining the sovereignty of Lebanon from Israeli occupation. This has even turned Turkey into a potential enemy of Israel. Israel’s list of friends is growing thin, while their list of enemies is expanding.

It may be significant that July 11 is when the next round of negotiations is scheduled (in Pakistan). If successful, it would mark a big turning point since July 11, 2001 and show a huge progression from war in 2001 to peace in 2026. Is it possible that events may actually reflect our victory, rather than the start of war?
