Eroding the foundations of Babylon

We do not know all the details of the world system, nor do we need to know. All we need to know is the time God says He will do something. Then we observe what happens, and it gives us a pretty good idea of what is going on in an overall view. Our perspective is, perhaps, somewhat unique in this, for even most prophetic newsletters only have a dim view of events, because they have no revelation of timing.

Our foundational prayer campaign to overthrow Mystery Babylon was from November 21-29, 1993, the 46^th anniversary of UN Resolution 181 that divided Palestine, giving each side the right to have its own state within those borders. The Israelis, representing the Edomite side of world Jewry (since 125 B.C.) had failed to build the true spiritual Temple after 46 years (John 2:20). Hence, Esau’s descendants were given the birthright name Israel in 1947-1948, but they failed to fulfill the responsibility of the birthright. So we represented the overcomers in the divine court in 1993, petitioning to receive the birthright and to fulfill its responsibilities.

We knew then that God granted us the title deed to Babylon and all of its territory and assets. From our spiritual perspective, the overcomers purchased the city of Babylon on November 29, 1994. Yet this, being urban property, was regulated by the law in Leviticus 25:29, 30,

²⁹ Likewise, if a man sells a dwelling house in a walled city, then his redemption right remains valid until a full year from its sale; his right of redemption lasts a full year. ³⁰ But if it is not bought back for him within the space of a full year, then the house that is within the walled city passes permanently to its purchaser throughout his generations; it does not revert in the Jubilee.

The Babylonians, then, were given the right of redemption for a full year until November 29, 1994. If they could have come up with the “cash” to redeem their property, the court would have let them retain control of the city indefinitely. The “cash” in this case was to bring righteousness into the earth and to declare the Jubilee, overthrowing the system of debt-bondage. Of course, they failed to do this, and thus the city was deeded to the overcomers in 1993-1994, shortly before the appearance of the Angel Peniel on October 8, 1995.

On November 29, 1994, the GATT treaty was passed by the US House of Representatives. The Senate passed it on Dec. 1^st. The joint House and Senate Committee passed it on Dec. 2 and sent it to the president to sign. Bill Clinton signed the bill on Dec. 8^th.

Some said that GATT was actually a treaty, rather than a “General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade,” and that it is a tool to bring us under the financial World Government. Perhaps that is so. I have not read the bill myself. Rush Limbaugh said he talked with Judge Bork, who assured him that it does not give away our sovereignty. Thus, there are mixed reports about this, and I have no firsthand information to clear up the disagreement. But one thing I do see: it happened on November 29, the very day Babylon’s time of redemption ended.

Thus, I know this was significant from a prophetic perspective.

De-Foley-ating Washington

Immediately after the House passed the GATT bill, Tom Foley, the Speaker of the House, resigned his position and “retired.” He was a congressman from Washington state, but he had been defeated in the election November 8^th by a man named George Nethercutt. (His name means “a lower cut”). The political talk in Washington state was to “de-Foley-ate Washington.” It happened first when Nethercutt won the election and on November 29 when Foley resigned.

We understood that Washington state is the spiritual headquarters for Washington D.C. What goes on in Washington state is a type and shadow of what is about to take place in Washington D.C. Thus, to de-Foley-ate Washington means essentially to strip the tree bare and cut it down with “a lower cut.” Guess what? We find that very prophecy in the Bible. Look at Daniel 4. It is the only chapter in the Bible written by a Babylonian King. Nebuchadnezzar tells how he had a dream that was fulfilled in his own day. Daniel 4:10-17 KJV says,

¹⁰ Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great. ¹¹ The tree grew and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven, and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth. ¹² The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was meat for all; the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof; and all flesh was fed of it. ¹³ I saw in the visions of my bed, and behold, a watcher and an holy one came down from heaven. ¹⁴ He cried aloud and said thus, “Hew down the tree, and cut off the branches, shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit; let the beasts get away from under it, and the fowls from his branches. ¹⁵ Nevertheless, leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field, and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass of the earth. ¹⁶ Let his heart be changed from man’s, and let a beast’s heart be given unto him; and let seven times pass over him.” ¹⁷ This matter is by the decree of the watchers and the demand by the word of the holy ones to the intent that the living may know that the Most High ruleth in the Kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever He will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

The king represented the nation. This is a description, not simply of King Nebuchadnezzar, but of Babylon itself, which is that “tree.” Yet, in the next verses we find that King Nebuchadnezzar was the type and shadow of his kingdom. So Daniel told the king that these events would happen to Nebuchadnezzar until He knew that the Most High was sovereign over all earthly kings.

²⁹ At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of Babylon. ³⁰ The king spake and said, “Is not this great Babylon, that I have built for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of my majesty?” ³¹ While the word was in the king’s mouth, there fell a voice from heaven saying, “O King Nebuchadnezzar, to thee it is spoken; the kingdom is departed from thee.”

Note that the “tree” of Babylon was typified by Nebuchadnezzar. The king had been given precisely one year (“twelve months”) in which to redeem his urban property. He failed and then made a prideful boast about the glory of his kingdom. That very moment, the “tree” was defoliated and cut down.

At that moment, the kingdom departed from him, and he was driven into the field to eat grass like an ox.

In our day Tom Foley was cut down by Nethercutt (“lower cut”). The only difference is that Nebuchadnezzar was cut down, but a stump was left to grow later. In our day, the axe is laid to the root. It is a “lower cut,” because Babylon is never to grow again. God’s Kingdom will replace it. This is the Stone Kingdom of Daniel 2:34, 35 that will grow and fill the whole earth.

Tom Foley was the Speaker of the “House of the Kingdom” (vs. 30). At the end of twelve months, when he and others passed GATT, it was his final act as Speaker. He gloried in his own accomplishments. This was the final straw, which will bring down Babylon, beginning with its representative, Tom Foley. He was de-Foley-ated, cut down, and driven out of the house.

The prophetic dream of Nebuchadnezzar was repeated through Rep. Tom Foley in the same manner and for the same reason. God is going to humiliate Babylon and its leaders of the world until they recognize that God rules all nations, and that men rule only by a franchise from Him. More than that, all authority comes from God (Romans 13:1), and it comes with an equal level of responsibility. Failure to meet that responsibility is grounds for the removal of authority.

Tariffs and Trade

GATT was the precursor to the World Trade Organization (WTO), which gave China Most Favored Trade status. Tariffs were lowered and trade barriers were removed. I knew immediately the passage of GATT on November 29, 1994 would prove to be the beginning of the end of Mystery Babylon. Indeed, it marked the start of a huge trade imbalance, where we soon saw $50 billion or more each month moved from the US to China. News accounts later said it was the largest shift of money (and power) in history.

Walmart became China, Inc., probably because Hillary Clinton was on the board of Walmart, assuring them of her husband’s new trade policy with China. However, it was not long before alarm bells were sounding in Washington, as the political establishment realized that US cash was funding the rise of China and the end of the American empire. Finally, Donald Trump arose to give voice to those concerns. He naturally blamed China, though it was the US government itself that had passed GATT in 1994. More accurately, it was God Himself who blinded the eyes of the leaders so that they would commit national suicide.

Trump, then, embarked on a campaign to raise tariffs on trade in an attempt to undo the damage caused by the passage of GATT. But by this time China had already diversified its trade agreements. Today only about 12% of its trade is with the USA, and it has become the world’s manufacturing hub. China had the foresight to know that economic competition often leads to war, so they used their trade profits not only on research and development but also to build up their military. This allowed China to become one of the “kings from the east” (Revelation 16:12) that God has raised up to overthrow Babylon.

The rise of China and Russia can therefore be traced back to the decree in the divine court on November 29, 1993 which gave the city of Babylon into the hands of the overcomers. This was confirmed one full year later in 1994. The foundational issue was “tariffs and trade,” and we are now seeing that issue come to full maturity under Donald Trump. Unfortunately, his advisors have not understood the spiritual basis of the problem, and Trump himself shows that he has practically no biblical understanding of Scripture or of prophecy.

Meanwhile, the US government squandered its resources on defending Ukraine’s right to join NATO (in Russia’s back yard), and in defending Israel’s right to oppress the Palestinians and to commit genocide. Both of these projects have drained hundreds of billions of dollars from the US economy.

Donald Trump’s tariffs and trade wars are his attempts to stop the judgment of God upon Babylon. His claim to “make America great again” in practice is to make Babylon great again. His “America First” program in practice is “Israel First, America Second.” His plan to “drain the swamp” and to destroy the Deep State has only brought the swamp into his cabinet and has empowered the Deep State warmongers.

Pray that the president’s eyes will be opened and that he will repent of his support for Edom (Zionists). Pray that he will truly be a Peace President and stop thinking that military wars and economic wars are the paths to peace.
