Daniel’s 70 Weeks (book) launched in Pakistan

Pastor Fiaz held the launching celebration on January 20, 2025 for the latest book that he translated into Urdu, Daniel’s Seventy Weeks. This is a major milestone in GKM’s ministry in Pakistan, as this book is the only one of its kind that has been translated into Urdu. It will have a tremendous impact on the church there as more and more people are set free from the “normal” view of prophecy.

Up to now, they have only known what western Bible teachers have taught them, that is, the Rapture, the coming 7-year tribulation, the rise of the Antichrist, and, of course, the fallacious view that Daniel’s seventieth week (of years) was somehow separated from the first 69 weeks and remains yet as a future time of tribulation.

Our book presents a detailed analysis of history proving that Daniel’s 70^th week ended with Christ’s crucifixion in 33 A.D. This was precisely 490 years after the decree of Artaxerxes, king of Persia, issued in the 7^th year of his reign (458 B.C.), as we read in Ezra 7:6. His decree is reproduced in Ezra 7:11-26.

It would be hard to overestimate the importance of the launching of this book, as it fills an important gap in the Urdu-based teachings. Yesterday Fiaz sent me pictures and videos of the launching celebration, along with this letter:

By the Grace of the Lord, our book "Daniel's Seventy Weeks"; has been published.
Last week, we held its launching ceremony, and we invited people from across
Pakistan. This book is the first of its kind on this topic in Urdu literature. Serious
students of the Holy Scriptures were eagerly waiting for it. As soon as the book was
published, I received hundreds of calls, and even before the launching ceremony, over
a hundred copies were already in people’s hands. After reading the book, many have
praised it in glowing terms.

Bishop Ernest Jacob, the Bishop of the Anglican Orthodox Church, not only
commended the book but also shared his thoughts about it.

Professor Peter Javed, a teacher of the Old Testament, Greek, and Hebrew, also
highly praised the book and even wrote down his impressions about it.
Elder Kamil Nasir Administrator also spoke very highly of this book, expressing his
appreciation for its content. Additionally, our book on Numbers is already being
taught in his seminary.

More than 150 people attended the launching event. We made significant efforts to
enhance the program this time. A large screen was installed behind the stage, we
showed the details of your works and all your translated books. People were deeply
inspired by your contributions and the Urdu translations of your works. Many pastors
and leaders who attended the event requested us to conduct seminars on this book in
their churches and seminaries.

We gifted copies of the book to everyone who attended the event and concluded the
program by serving a meal to all the guests.
