We are nearing the completion of a new book, Kingdom Vision—A Primer for Prophets. This was originally written in a series of blog posts about six months ago. It is designed to teach prophets the important things in the word that they need to know in order to understand biblical and personal prophecy. This way they will be better equipped to align their own prophecies with that which has been prophesied by the biblical prophets.
I am also about half finished editing the book on Key Words in the Bible. I’m not sure what the final title will be.
I also resurrected an old project, the continuation of the biblical meaning of numbers. I already covered numbers 1 to 40, but I am now working on numbers 41-72, which will relate to the next book on The Exodus Book of Psalms. This book on numbers must be completed before I write the Exodus Book.
Studying the meaning of numbers, of course, is meticulous work, because I have to draw up all of the biblical references in order. If I make any mistake, it will throw off the entire study. For instance, to know the 41st time that the name “Abraham” is used, I have to start with the first reference and count from there. It is easy to skip one reference or even to duplicate one. I also have to integrate the verses which mention “Abraham’s,” as the possessive form is listed separately in Strong’s Concordance.
The amount of time it takes to write this book is why I set aside this book for a few years. There were too many other books to write. While it requires many hours of concentrated work just to prepare to write the book on numbers, when finished, it should be easy for readers to follow.
Whenever I do another series of Bible studies, I create more editing work for myself, and this contributes to the backlog of projects needed to put books into print. I find it increasingly difficult to find time to edit past studies, due to the increasing demands that each day makes upon my time. Then again, I am not getting any younger (yet). Sometimes I simply run out of mental energy.
So much is happening in the world today that it is hard to keep up on the news. I spend most of my evenings catching up on the world news, except when I am on one of many zoom calls. I finally go to bed about 11 pm and get some rest for the next day’s routine. I’m not complaining, of course, because I love what I do; however, it does take a lot of energy.
So what is going on in the world?
The financial system of Mystery Babylon has nearly run its course. We have had a few major bankruptcies since March, but this is only the tip of the iceberg. More than half of the banks in America are insolvent. The only thing keeping their doors open is the fact that they are not factoring in the decreased value of their assets.
A report from the Hoover Institution by Professor Seru and a group of banking experts has shown that about 2,315 banks in the US currently have assets worth less than their liabilities while the market value of the loan portfolios of these lenders is $2 trillion lower than the stated book value.
At the same time, in the opinion of this expert, US regulators can contain the liquidity crisis faced by midsize lenders, by guarantee all deposits temporarily. However this would not address the biggest solvency crisis.
If I did not know that God is in control of the situation and that He is using this crisis to take control over Mystery Babylon, I would be very concerned (fearful). The sixth angel has poured out his bowl of wine (judgment) upon the Euphrates, and this has caused a liquidity shortage in Babylon (Revelation 16:12).
I have had a basic understanding of this for many years, but now that the river is actually drying up, it is clear how the prophecy is being fulfilled. Most people do not yet understand just how serious the problem is, because the banking system is based on the people’s faith and confidence in the system itself. Once they lose confidence, the bank runs begin, and banks quickly become insolvent. When the river dries up, government regulators take over.
My sources tell me about some very prominent banks around the world that have serious liquidity problems. It would surprise most people to know that there are now very few “too big to fail” banks that have adequate resources. The governments of the world are incapable of solving the problem—even in America, where the government seems to have the unlimited ability to create more money.
But our faith is in the Scriptures, where we see the pattern of Babylon’s fall in Daniel 5. King Cyrus and his father-in-law, Darius, were the original kings of the east who dried up the River Euphrates in order to take down the city of Babylon. In doing so, Cyrus (in particular) fulfilled his role as a messiah (Isaiah 44:28; 45:1). We read in Isaiah 44:27,
27 It is I who says to the depth of the sea [or river], “Be dried up!” And I will make your rivers dry.
Years ago, God had us pour out seven bowls of wine, one each year from 2000-2006 at various locations that correlated with the seven bowls in Revelation 16. The sixth bowl was poured out (September 26, 2005) at the Colorado River near Fruita, Colorado. At the time, this river represented the Euphrates, which means “fruitfulness.” We were led to read Isaiah 44:27 and proclaim, “Be dried up!”
It took a long time for this to take effect, but we are now seeing the results after nearly 18 years.
Blackstone is going bankrupt, and for the last 6 months they have limited withdrawals.
Blackstone is perhaps the largest real estate company in the world.
Today, another large real estate company called SBB imploded in Sweden.
One headline describes this collapse, saying, “The canary in the coal mine for European real estate just died.”
When real estate companies can’t pay their loans, the banks soon go down with them in a domino effect. Right now there is panic among the bankers. Soon there will be panic in the public sector too. That is the point where we reach the end game for Mystery Babylon.
Yet we who have prayed for the fall of Babylon and for the end of our captivity are seeing the answer to our prayers. So let us not be afraid when God answers prayer. We know that divine judgment is being directed at Babylon, not at us. This is happening for our benefit, whether it looks like it or not. It is in dangerous times that our faith is proven. Conversely, it is said that when the tide goes out, that is when you find out who has been swimming naked.
