Review of an earlier report about Entering the Millennium of Rest prayer campaign November 1-14, 2001

The following is a partial report that I wrote more than 20 years ago about the prayer campaign that we held from November 1-14, 2001. The report itself was 8 pages, but I have edited it down so that it is not so long.

This report is from a special newsletter to a few friends in those days called The Lord’s Doing. I began doing these reports in August of 1994 and ended in 2004. After that, I began to share these accounts with the general public in the Foundation For Intercession. For this reason, the TLD itself became unnecessary, so I stopped writing the TLD in 2004.

Keep in mind that when I wrote this report, I had many unanswered questions. In particular, I did not know when these spiritual victories would actually be seen visibly in earthly events. We are now coming into a time (21 years later) where the first visible signs are emerging in 2022. This does not mean that the full manifestation is taking place, but nonetheless, current events are confirming the events of 2001.

To understand what is happening today, you should know what we did in 2001, so that is why I am sharing this report with you.

Partial Review from Last July [2001]

In TLD [The Lord’s Doing] issue # 5.5 dated July 16, 2001, I wrote about the New Gideon’s Army that the Lord formed from May 20 to June 30, 2001. The moment this army’s call was completed, we found ourselves in spiritual warfare that started with a few demonic armies and ended in a total “world war.” This was surprising to us, because we had expected such a war to take place over a period of years, rather than just two weeks. By July 16 we had overthrown the entire hierarchy of Satan (God’s left hand) and had installed the Archangels as rulers over the various quadrants of the world. The only ones left were Satan himself and a lot of peons, the unclean spirits.

What we did not know was what this all meant. What were the implications of this? What sort of changes would we expect to see in the earth? And when would we see those changes reflected by these victories? Timing is always a tricky subject, because there is a difference between spiritual time and earthly time. We learned years ago that things happen in the spirit before they happen on the earth. The spiritual event is the pattern for the earthly event. One way to look at it is that the spiritual event is the vision of the eventual occurrence on the earth. As far as God is concerned, it is a present reality, but in earthly terms, things happen on a timeline, often spread out over a long period of time….

The Two Heavenly Courts

This past year has been a learning experience in divine court procedure as well as in spiritual warfare on the “battlefield.” We have learned that there are two heavenly courts. First, there is the Divine Court, which is the normal court. Then there is what the Lord calls “The Holy Sanhedrin,” which is another heavenly court. [Note: we now call it the Divine Council.] I have not fully figured out why there are two or the distinctions between them. Yet I think the following story sheds some light on it:

About 5 years ago a friend named Bob (I have a lot of friends by that name; let’s call him Bob Washington) attempted suicide with prescription drugs, and by the time the ambulance arrived, he was dead. It took half an hour to get to the hospital, where he was formally pronounced dead. They took him to the morgue, where they put a tag on his toe. Soon, however, he began to move, and they took him back to the hospital, where he remained in a coma for the next three days. Then he came out of it and recovered fully.

He told me personally what had happened, and how, while dead, he had found himself seated at the foot of a long, large table, with a lot of men seated at the sides. The Lord was at the other end of the table, and these were all engaged in a conversation about Bob. They were also ignoring him, as if he were not there. Finally, one man said in defense of Bob that he had never been given the tools by which to complete his ministry on earth. He thought they should send him back. The others agreed. The Lord then turned to Bob and said, “We have decided to send you back, because you did not really have the opportunity to fulfill your calling. But don’t you try this again!” (referring to his attempted suicide) At that point Bob awoke.

Bob asked me if I thought perhaps the men were the 24 elders. I did not know. But on January 23, 2002 I was led to ask the Lord about this. He confirmed that they were indeed the 24 elders. So I asked who they were. He told me that they were first the 12 apostles, excluding Judas, who was replaced by the Apostle Paul. The other 12 were from the Old Testament:

3.     Methuselah                          9. Moses

4.     Noah                                    10. David

5.     Shem                                    11. Isaiah

6.     Abraham                              12. Daniel

It was Isaiah who spoke up on behalf of Bob. Keep in mind, of course, that when dealing with heavenly things, there are no time constraints. God stands above time, for He created it. All things are in the present with Him. There is no past or future with God. It just IS. Hence, when we have spiritual experiences where we are caught away into the spirit like Ezekiel or Paul experienced, or even as Jesus experienced when the devil took Him up to a high “mountain” and showed Him all the kingdoms of this world, they were seeing things from a spiritual perspective that we have a difficult time comprehending in our brains. These 24 elders all died in the past, but God is not the God of the dead, but of the living. As far as God is concerned, if they are to be resurrected in the future (by our perspective), then it has already happened in the heavens and even now exists.

Or, to put it another way, if at some time in the future I will stand above the realm of time, then I must also have already pre-existed. Once we attain that “future” state, we can then see and even interact with the “past.” It is sort of like playing back the interactive movie of the History of the World. Can you understand this? Can you break through the carnal brain and conceive of a timeless realm? Can you look at history through God’s eyes? This is more than just useless speculation and philosophical mind games. This is necessary to comprehend spiritual things and begin to understand the mind of God.

Thus, the 24 elders are dead from the human perspective, but alive from God’s. The resurrection of the dead will yet take place on the earthly timeline, but from God’s perspective, they are already living. All of this makes for some good theological discussion, because it explains how the dead can be really dead by earth time, and yet be alive in spirit time. Not many are able to look at the world through two sets of eyes at the same time. It is much like learning two languages. We must be able to speak both human and heavenly language.

Prayer Campaign: Entering the Millennium of Rest (Nov. 1-14, 2001)

About 20 of us have been called to make certain decrees from time to time in the Divine Court or before the Holy Sanhedrin [The Council]. The Lord often has different combinations of us do this by means of the telephone or conference calling. Each case is different. I have taken to asking the Lord whenever Darla and I go into prayer whether or not we need to deal with any court cases. We have a case probably an average of about once a week. This is followed inevitably by an appeal lodged by the adversaries, who, of course, do not like the restrictions we place on them by these decrees. We then have to discern the grounds on which their appeal was made and then answer it as our wonderful Attorney tells us.

In early October I asked the Lord for “watch dates” so I would have some idea of when to inquire further (on those dates). One watch date given was October 28. On this day we were told that we would have to go to the Divine Court on November 1 and file a complaint against four enemies, using Deut. 30:17, 18 as the basis of the complaint. We were also to decree that the angels do something to enforce this. The Scriptures read:

¹⁷ But if your heart turns away and you will not obey, but are drawn away and worship other gods and serve them, ¹⁸ I declare to you today that you shall surely perish. . . .

The name of this court battle was to be: “Ye Shall Surely Perish.” It looked to me like someone was in big trouble, and it wasn’t us. The next day, Oct. 29, Bob Oklahoma called, and we were led to make a decree based on John 14:17:

“In Jesus Christ’s Name we decree that the world will receive the Spirit of Truth, that it will come to see, hear, and know the Spirit of Truth.”

After this decree, I asked the Lord for more details in regard to the Nov. 1^st court date. He gave me Romans 2:12, the phrase, “without law perish” and Job. 30:19, “I am become dust.” This appeared to confirm the earlier Scripture, Deut. 30:17, 18, “Ye shall surely perish.”

On October 30 I had a telephone call from Art and Cindy, who had received from the Lord some kind of warning and were led to call me about it, because it involved me. It had to do with something that Satan was going to do the next night at Halloween.

I should pause here to explain something about Satan. As I have said many times, Satan has no power of himself, but derives it from the power of the law to prosecute sinners. Where there is sin, Satan is the prosecutor hired by God to drive us to repentance and back to God. He’s the wolf that drives the sheep back into the corral. Of course, many sheep get eaten along the way, because they do not know how to find rest in God’s place of refuge and grace.

I believe that God created Satan for a distinct purpose, for he has the calling to prosecute us for our sin. God did not create him to destroy us ultimately, but to hold us accountable to the law and bring us to Christ. I have come to appreciate this more and more this past year as we have been adversaries in the Divine Court. When he has appealed our decrees, it has often been on the basis of some sin or imperfection on our part. Usually, the answer is simply that we are under the blood of Christ and that His perfection has been imputed to us. But on occasion, there is some sin for which we must repent. It is not always our own personal sin, but often the sin of the body we represent. When we repent, it always opens the way for the furtherance of His glory manifested in us.

Satan and other unclean spirits need to manifest in people in order to have authority in the earth. This is because authority was given to man in Gen. 1:26. We have found that the various princes, archprinces, and Satan himself always manifest in people. When one dies, these spirits go into others. Last July when we conquered these spiritual hierarchies, we deprived those men of their spiritual power, at least according to spiritual “time.” It takes a while for the spiritual event to manifest in the world. Our victory in battle settled the matter in heaven. It’s like shooting an arrow. It is destined to hit the mark, but it is yet in flight.

Since 1981 Satan has manifested in a fairly dark-skinned gypsy from Romania. We call her the “Black Gypsy.” The end of last July, in the middle of the hot summer, the Lord had me take out a map and pinpoint her location in downtown Detroit, Michigan. I discerned that she was in a building on a particular street between 2 specific cross streets. The Lord gave me the word “basement” or “crypt” or “treasure house.” I could not find the right word, but since it was getting quite late in the night, I decided to call Art, who lives near there, to tell him she was in his neighborhood. He checked it out the next day. There was only one building at the location I described. It was a large warehouse called “The Personal Vault.”

He drove through the alley between the parking lot and the building for a better look and found the Black Gypsy looking out the window, looking very much like a palm reader. He drove around for a second pass, and this time she turned her face away. So he stopped in the parking lot to pray about what to do next and to confirm that she was the one. Suddenly, in the middle of the hot parking lot on a 98-degree sunny day, the back window of the car was iced over! I guess she threw a temper tantrum over being discovered and threw some ice at Art. Anyway, we let her know in this way that she could not hide from us any longer. We now had the capability of knowing her whereabouts whenever we wanted.

Anyway, in late October, as we were getting our instructions for the Nov. 1 Court date, Bob Oklahoma called and told me that the Black Gypsy had gone to Aberdeen, South Dakota for the upcoming Halloween celebration. So when Art called on Oct. 30 with a warning, I did some serious inquiry and found that the Satanists in Aberdeen were planning a Halloween ceremony that included human sacrifice of a 19-year old girl named Erin, who had been kidnapped for this purpose. In praying about this, the Lord gave me Heb. 9:9, the phrase, “sacrifices could not make.” This was to be interpreted as meaning we were to make a decree forbidding human sacrifice. I was also given Lev. 1:8, dealing with the burnt offering law, which was to be interpreted as the type of human sacrifice that the Satanists planned for Erin.

Human sacrifice has always been unlawful according to the divine law. The problem is that men have nullified this law with their own traditions. From Moses to Christ, Israel as a nation was “chosen,” that is, they were the ones elected to agree with God and decree accordingly. Among those laws was the one banning human sacrifice. The problem was that Israel usually went along with it, as the prophet Jeremiah tells us (Jer. 19:5).

In the New Testament, God narrowed the “chosen” status down to just the believers—that is, the barley and the wheat company. For the next 2,000 years the believers of the wheat and barley were “chosen” to enforce the divine law and come into agreement with Christ. The problem is, for much of this time, they went along with human sacrifice also—in the form of the hellfire and brimstone teaching. The Church even began to burn people at the stake, justifying their actions on the grounds that this was what God would do to them anyway for eternity. Thus, the Church, while giving lip service to abolishing human sacrifice, nevertheless established it in the earth in their hearts.

Finally, the Lord began to separate the barley from the wheat, putting them into two “fields” in 1985-1986. In 1993 the Saul Church died, and the transition began from Saul’s house to the House of David. This finally came to a climax on Nov. 29-30, 2000. This was the date when the “chosen” status of Saul and the Church under Pentecost ended—and the date that David began to rule from the New Jerusalem. It was the date when the barley company became “chosen” and was given the full authority to make decrees in the earth that would be binding upon all and liberating for the whole earth.

Thus, eleven months later, on October 30, 2001 we were led to make a decree banning all human sacrifice in the earth. This legally put the Satanists on notice, so that when they would celebrate their Halloween party, they could be held fully liable for violating the law.

The next day at 1:00 p.m. Bob Oklahoma (and others, four in all) were given to know that the Nov. 1^st court date would begin a 14-day campaign known as “The Campaign of Entering the Millennium of Rest.”

That same night the Satanists had their unlawful party, although the Lord told us that Erin was spared, and they sacrificed another in her place. Also, the three men in whom Satan’s three Archprinces had inhabited were guilty as well. These, then, were the four against whom we lodged the complaint in the Divine Court on Nov. 1^st called “Ye Shall Surely Perish.” Since they were guilty of human sacrifice after the decree forbidding it, they will forfeit their lives. Again, we do not know when this will manifest in the world, but it is done.

November 2, 2001. Satan answered our complaint in the Divine Court on the grounds that he is not under the authority of the Divine Court and thus did not sin in sacrificing a girl at Halloween. How to answer this ridiculous appeal? God gave us John 16:33, “I have overcome the world.” In other words, Jesus’ death on the cross and His life on earth effectively gave Him the authority over the whole world. This authority is all-inclusive, including Satan and his Archprinces. Hence, we won the case, as usual.

Satan immediately refused to comply with the Court’s ruling, and so we were immediately led to issue a judgment against him, based on Deut. 18:9-11. It is the death penalty. We dispatched the angels to enforce this judgment.

November 3, 2001. Bob Oklahoma called to tell me that Satan had appealed for grace and peace! I had to laugh at that one, especially because the Lord had just given me Rom. 5:1, 2 in my preparation for teaching on that chapter in the tape ministry series on the book of Romans.

¹ Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, ² through whom also we have obtained our introduction by faith into this grace in which we stand . . .

In other words, one must be justified to have PEACE. And we can only receive grace by faith. Satan is not justified, for he has no faith. Faith and obedience are the same word in both Hebrew and Greek. Satan remains in noncompliance and disobedience, and that is what dooms him. So it was a simple matter to go before the Divine Court and ask that Satan’s appeal be denied.

November 4, 2001. Bob Oklahoma again called with the word that Satan and his three Archprince representatives had attempted to use their powers to change their identities by “shape shifting” and thus avoid judgment on the grounds that they were different people. Again, it was almost laughable.

November 5, 2001. Satan was finally bound for 1,000 years. Thus, we entered what Bob had been given: “The Campaign of Entering into the Millennium of Rest.” On this day the Aurora Borealis lit up the skies as far south as California and North Carolina in a wonderful display of red and green colors. I thought that was a nice touch to end this episode. Take note, though, that although Satan was bound, the Lord specifically instructed us not to request his absorption back into the Father. He yet has a final role to play in the future for a short time.

This date, then, began the first 76-day period of cleansing in the coming prophetic year. It ended Jan. 20, 2002. The second 76-day period of cleansing ends April 6, 2002….

ADDENDUM: The warfare in 2001 does not reflect immediate fulfillment. What we saw in a few days’ time was the spiritual event, but the actual outworking of each battle and the capture of each prince must be worked out over a period of time in the years ahead… And so when we say “Satan is bound,” this does not mean our troubles are over. The event will emerge into the earth at its proper time where it will become apparent to all in actual events on earth.
