Serving divorce papers to Babylon

Yesterday the Spirit of God informed us that we were to serve divorce papers to Babylon at the time of the Second Passover. Today is the 14^th day of the second month, the day specifically mentioned in Numbers 9:11.

This is the next step to be taken after yesterday’s Bind the Nobles prayer campaign.

The Wars in 2001

This sequence actually began in 2001 when we were led to divorce America from the golden calves that Jeroboam set up in Bethel and Dan (1 Kings 12:28, 29). Those false gods had never been overthrown, at least not by anyone who had the authority to do so on behalf of the nation. God raised the issue in January of 2001, and it was completed in March of the same year.

What we are doing today is a further step. False gods are divorced spiritually; Babylon must be divorced on a more earthly level. Divorcing the golden calves was done by petitioning the divine court; divorcing Babylon must be by a written bill of divorce (Deuteronomy 24:1 KJV). For this reason, I have drawn up formal divorce papers on behalf of America and the world, which you may subscribe to, if you are so led, on behalf of your own country.

Why is this to be done on the Second Passover?

The Second Passover

First, if a man is unable to keep the normal (first) Passover on Abib 14/15, because he is on a journey or is unclean from touching a dead (mortal) body, he is told to keep the feast a month later (Numbers 9:10, 11). Passover signifies justification by faith in the blood of the Lamb. There are many people who remain unclean or on a long journey (from God) who are not eligible to keep the Passover and appropriate the blood of Christ to themselves during their lifetime.

So God makes provision for a Second Passover, which prophesies of the day when every knee will bow and every tongue will swear allegiance to Christ (Isaiah 45:22-25)., or, as Paul puts it, they will confess/profess Him as Lord (Philippians 2:11).

Both of these Passovers present the truth of justification by faith. They also apply to the two works of Christ and are timed according to the two comings of Christ. This should also be viewed in the context of the two laws and the two covenants (Exodus and Deuteronomy 29:1). We today are living in the time where the Deuteronomy (“second law”) is most relevant.

It is in Deuteronomy 24:1 KJV that the divorce law was given by revelation to Moses, suggesting that the divorce from Babylon would occur (officially) in our time. On a personal, individual level, of course, Christ’s death on the cross divorced us from the golden calves. But there is also a collective (or national) level that we have to view things in order to see things in a balanced and complete view.

Why? Because as individuals we are the temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16), but we are also living stones in a collective temple built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets (Ephesians 2:20-22). Hence, as individuals, we can have a relationship with Christ by divorcing false gods and being married to Christ. But as a collective unit, functioning as a body, we are either enhanced by those of the five-fold ministry, or we are held back by those who are spiritually immature. Thus, it takes an age to build the collective temple, and we must rely on prophecy to understand both the process and the timing of its completion.

Every year as we observe the feast days, we are given new revelation of the meaning of the feasts and their application, both individually and collectively. In 2020 the Holy Spirit has drawn our attention to the Second Passover by telling us that it is time to divorce Babylon. This can be done only by the power of the blood of Jesus, and so we see this being done on Passover, albeit the Second Passover.

A Written Bill of Divorce

We did not know until yesterday that this divorce was a function of the Second Passover. We did not know that we were to draw up a written bill of divorce as instructed in Deuteronomy 24:1. Yet we discerned that because our spiritual enemies know the law (often better than we do), they use the law legalistically to try to gain advantage over us.

Without a written bill of divorce, Babylon’s rulers have claimed jurisdiction over us, based on this technicality in the law. We have learned by countless examples that the enemy is legalistic in its application of the law, and as long as we remain ignorant of his devices, we remain at a disadvantage in the divine court. So we are answering that claim today and ending that controversy.

The law in Deuteronomy 24 does not get into detail as far as the lawful causes for divorce. It only says, “if he has found some indecency [“uncleanness,” KJV] in her.” This is non-specific, but yet it establishes that divorce must have a lawful cause. In Mark 10:12 Jesus mentions, “and if she herself divorces her husband,” showing that either a man or a woman may divorce a spouse. This applies to us in this case, because when Israel was divorced and sent out of her house (Jeremiah 3:8), she was put under the authority of another husband, known prophetically as “Babylon,” although many beast nations were involved. In other words, Israel was put into an Old Covenant marriage, for she was subject to the laws and commands of Babylon, her husband.

As individuals, when we came to Christ, we were allowed to divorce Babylon on account of Mark 10:12. But on the collective level, the church and the entire world remained subject to Babylon—at least until its time expired in 2017 after a period of “seven times.” Once the dominion of the beasts expired, it opened the door to divorce Babylon on a collective level and to set the whole earth free. It seems that neither the world nor the church has been given sufficient revelation and understanding to do this work, mostly because they do not acknowledge the law and prefer to follow the traditions of men. So we are doing it today on their behalf.

The lawful causes for divorce are given in Scripture when God gave reasons for divorcing the House of Israel. Jeremiah 3:1 says that Israel had become a harlot and had refused repeatedly to repent. Conversely, our lawful cause for divorcing Babylon is also found in many passages, but, as it turns out, I am led to focus on the cause found in Isaiah 14:13 and 14, because this describes the root issue.

In its arrogance, Babylon has tried to displace God and to usurp His position, as if he were the creator and owner of the earth. The law of equal justice (“eye for eye”) means that Babylon is to be judged in equal measure. Just as Babylon was insubordinate to God, refusing to acknowledge Him as the Head/Husband, so also the divine judgment says that we will do the same to Babylon.

The Bill of Divorce

Whereas Babylon has refused to acknowledge the Creator of all things, his wife—all those who are under his authority—hereby serve Babylon with this written Bill of Divorce.

The lawful cause of this divorce is written in Isaiah 14:13, 14,

¹³ But you said in your heart, “I will ascend to heaven, I will raise my throne above the stars of God, and I will sit on the mount of assembly in the recesses of the north. ¹⁴ I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will make myself like the Most High.”

Babylon has continuously refused to repent of its lawless rebellion against the Creator and has commanded its wife to do the same, which it had no right to do. Therefore, we now declare in writing, in accordance with the law in Deuteronomy 24:1, and on behalf of all who seek the righteousness of Christ, that we divorce Babylon.

We hereby separate ourselves from Babylon’s house so that we may be fully a part of the household of faith in Christ Jesus.

Let this notice establish that all bonds and ties between us and Babylon are hereby broken and nullified, so that we are now free to remarry (Deuteronomy 24:2 KJV; 1 Corinthians 7:27, 28). Babylon has no further claim upon us and has no right to reclaim us (Deuteronomy 24:4).
