Is the death of Peres a sign?

Israeli statesman, Shimon Peres, a terrorist in the 1940’s who turned peacemaker in 1993, died today at the age of 93. Here is the news report:

When he became a peacemaker, he was suddenly opposed, often violently, by the war parties in Israeli politics. When he put together a peace treaty with PLO president Yassir Arafat that was signed on September 13, 1993, Christian prophecy teachers proclaimed that this was the start of the Great Tribulation, essentially implying that Peres was the Antichrist for daring to make peace.

Well, the seven years ended in September of 2000, and those same teachers now hope no one will remember what they said. They have instead moved on to other potential antichrists and new dates for the Tribulation.

The article says that Peres means “songbird” in Hebrew, but there is also no mistaking the connection with the final word in the handwriting on the wall in Daniel 5:28.

Last June 11 we saw the Mina, Mina sign, followed by the Tekel sign. I wrote about it here:

One of the gay victims in the Pulse nightclub was Eddie, the son of Mina Justice. He texted his mother during the attack just before he was killed.

A mother of a man killed in the Orlando shootings has revealed her anguish after receiving terrified texts from her son telling her that he was being held hostage in the club’s bathroom.

Mina Justice was sound asleep when she received the first text from her son, Eddie Justice, who was in the gay nightclub Pulse when a gunman opened fire, leaving 50 dead and more than 50 wounded.

What are the odds of seeing Mina, Mina in this news account? Is this a sign that we are on the eve of Babylon’s collapse, as per Daniel 5:25? The biblical term MENE is the Aramaic version of the Hebrew MINA. They both mean “Numbered, or Audited.” The prophecy was that Babylon’s accounts had been “audited” and then found to be bankrupt.

So I take this as a sign of Babylon’s impending collapse.

First we saw the Mina, Mina sign at the time of the Orlando shooting. Justice Mina was the mother of one of the victims, and Police Chief Mina is a Justice of the Peace. I explained this “Mina” sign here:

Now we see “Tekel banknotes” at the Dundee Design Festival.

Perhaps we should watch for the third sign: Peretz, Peres, upharsin (the plural form), or even Paris? (See Daniel 5:25-28.)

Are we seeing the handwriting on the wall for Mystery Babylon? Is Justice coming?

Now, with the death of Peres, we are seeing the PERES sign, which is the last. Daniel 5:28 says “PERES—your kingdom (Babylon) has been divided and given over to the Medes and Persians.”

It will be interesting to see how soon it takes for Babylon to fall apart. October 1 is the end of the fiscal year and is always an important date to watch. So perhaps the death of Peres will give meaning to October 1^st, if not earlier.

Keep in mind that this prophetic year began November 13, 2015, the day that Paris was attacked. This entire year seems to have the Paris or Peres label.
