President Obama invited Mideast leaders to a summit in Washington. Only two out of six of the invited leaders bothered to show up: Kuwait and Qatar. The most significant snub came from Saudi Arabia. Although the Saudi king agreed to attend the summit, he backed out at the last minute.
King Salman's decision appeared to ripple across the Persian Gulf. Bahrain said on Sunday that its ruler, King Hamad bin Isaa Al Khalifa, had opted not to travel to Washington.
The only two monarchs from the six countries confirmed to attend the summit at the White House and the presidential retreat at Camp David, Md., were the emirs of Qatar and Kuwait.

Shortly afterward, the Saudi king announced that he was ready to buy nuclear weapons from Pakistan. After all, Saudi Arabia bankrolled Pakistan’s development of nuclear weapons in recent years, so it should be no problem to purchase them from Pakistan.
Saudi Arabia will join the nuclear club by buying “off the shelf” atomic weapons from Pakistan, US officials told a London newspaper.

Such nuclear deals are normally kept secret, of course, so the release of this news to the press was designed to show how angry they are with President Obama for coming to an agreement with Iran over its nuclear power plant construction. They are certain that Iran will use this technology to build weapons.
But the Saudis have had nuclear weapons for a long time. It seems to me that this news item was designed to provide cover for their own nuclear missile base, which was built 30 years ago. That way they can claim that their acquisition of nuclear weaponry was the fault of US policy toward Iran. But this claim itself is a ruse.
Howard Blum, in his book The Gold of Exodus (1998), wrote how the Saudis contracted the Chinese to build them a nuclear missile base at the site of Jabal al-Lawz, i.e., Mount Horeb, where the law was given to Israel. They have had nuclear missiles for close to 30 years, and the governments of Israel and the USA have kept that hidden in order to maintain friendship with the Saudi government.
Here is what Blum wrote on page 41, 42,
And that was how, despite the elaborate precautions taken by the Higher Officers’ Committee and the careful silence of the Reagan administration, Israel managed to learn what was happening in the Saudi desert. After studying satellite photographs and intelligence reports stole in the fall of 1985 by its agent Jonathan Pollard, Israel knew that bases were being secretly built throughout the kingdom for 28 Chinese DF-3A missiles capable of delivering nuclear warheads anywhere in their small country within minutes.
When the Israelis made this discovery, they decided to strike the missile base. Blum continues on page 42 and 43,
The Israeli cabinet, after only cursory debate, authorized an attack. A formation of aircraft took off the Red Sea, turned right, and, hugging the desert to avoid Saudi radar, headed toward the military city of Tabuk in the northwest corner of the kingdom.
The planes flew over the sprawling base precisely at dawn. They came in from the east with the rising sun behind them so that the Saudi gunners would have the light in their eyes and the Israelis’ target would be illuminated. Their IP—Initial Point, the start of the bomb run—was a control tower a mile north of the base’s main jet runway. The runway was their target. They caught the Saudis by complete surprise. One after another, the planes dropped their pay-load.
The sound of live pigs hitting the concrete from a height of one hundred feet was sickening. The noise of the C-130 engines drowned out their squeals, but there was a sharp, hard thud, like a car’s door being firmly shut, each time an animal slammed into the tarmac and its internal organs splattered. The oozing remains of twelve pigs lay scattered in an impressive neatly spaced row by the time the planes had completed their run and were heading back toward the Red Sea…
The gift of a dozen splattered pigs was a gesture that was calculated to be rude, vulgar, and totally infuriating…
“The Saudis were too embarrassed to make a fuss….
Yet even as the Israeli Air Force high command was congratulating itself on the successful return of the planes to their base outside Eilat, a meeting of Israeli cabinet was being convened… The ministers understood that if the Saudis could buy missiles, then it was possible—even likely—that their petro-dollars could in time buy a nuclear bomb.
Well, it appears that the time has come. The significance of this, from a prophetic standpoint, is that the Saudi missile base is located at the base of Mount Horeb, the place where the Old Covenant was made with Israel. Horeb, or “Mount Sinai,” was not located in the Sinai peninsula, but in Saudi Arabia (Galatians 4:25).
The Sinai peninsula was—and still is—part of Egypt. Paul says the mount was in Arabia, not in Egypt. Paul should know; he went there shortly after his conversion (Galatians 1:17) in order to obtain a new revelation of the law and the covenants at the site where the Old Covenant had been given.
When Jesus came as the Mediator of the New Covenant, the Jews rejected Him in favor of Moses. They made their decision to remain under the jurisdiction of the Old Covenant, and that is the condition of Judaism to this day. Arabia—including Mount Horeb—was the inheritance given to the Arabs, that is, to the children of Ishmael.
Hence, without realizing it, the leaders of Judaism put Jerusalem under the authority of the Arabs whose inheritance was Mount Sinai (Horeb). To make a long story short, this provided the legal basis for God to move the Jews out of Jerusalem and to give it to the Arabs. By extension, of course, all ethnic groups in the Middle East who have placed their religious faith in Islam (the religion of the Arabs as a whole) have a share in that same inheritance.
In 1948 this legal arrangement was overturned temporarily on account of the dispute between Jacob-Israel and Esau-Edom. I described this more fully in my book, The Struggle for the Birthright. Because Edom was absorbed into Jewry in 126 B.C., world Jewry was called to represent Esau-Edom in its claim to the land. This claim was based on the fact that Jacob obtained the land by lies and fraud against Edom in Genesis 27. As a result, when Isaac discovered the fraud, he told Esau in Genesis 27:40 KJV, “when thou shalt have the dominion, thou shalt break his [Jacob’s] yoke from off thy neck.”
In other words, the dominion and birthright would have to be returned to Esau-Edom until Esau had time to prove himself to be unworthy. That way the prophecy that “the older shall serve the younger” (Genesis 25:23) could be fulfilled in a lawful manner in God’s time.
This all happened in 1948 when the dominion and birthright were returned to Esau-Edom, represented by the Zionist portion of World Jewry. They took on the birthright name, Israel. God has blessed them and has defended them on account of the birthright up to this day. But the time is drawing near for the dominion mandate to be passed to the saints of the Most High. The “saints” will gain what Edom will lose.
Mystery Babylon, which rose to power from 1914-1917, was given 100 years of dominion until 2014-2017. This time frame has a “Jerusalem” connection, which actually started in 604 B.C. when Nebuchadnezzar took Jerusalem in the days of Jeremiah and Daniel. Recall that 2,520 years later brings us to 1917 when Allenby freed Jerusalem. It appears, then, that 2017 will be the time for another “Jerusalem” event, where Esau will be cast down according to the prophecies of Obadiah, Isaiah, Ezekiel, and Malachi.
My long-standing question has been this: Who will bring judgment upon Esau-Edom and his capital city, Jerusalem? Will it be Saudi Arabia? Since the Jews depend on Moses and recognize Mount Sinai as their place of obtaining justice, will this mean that Moses will judge them from Mount Sinai in Arabia? Hear what Jesus said in John 5:45,
45 Do not think that I will accuse you before the Father; the one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have set your hope.
In the law, when men had a dispute that they could not resolve between themselves, they came to a judge at the gate of the city to resolve their case. It was the judge that their legal (religious) system itself had established.
In this case, the Jews did not place their “hope” in Jesus, but rather in Moses. Hence, they would not come to Jesus to resolve this dispute. Instead, they go to Moses. For this reason, Moses will judge them and will resolve this issue of who is the inheritor of the old Jerusalem.
In the case of Jacob v. Esau, it appears that Moses gave the Zionist Edomites 70 years in which to prove themselves worthy of the birthright. The Palestinian Resolution was passed on November 30, 1947. Seventy years later brings us to 2017, and almost precisely to the hundredth anniversary of Allenby’s capture of Jerusalem in December 9, 1917, that is, to December 9, 2017.
It is looking more and more likely that the end of 2017 will see the third and final Jerusalem event. The description of this event is given in Isaiah 29:1-6, where the prophet tells us of God’s siege upon “Ariel” (the prophetic name of Jerusalem). In this siege, it appears that the city will be destroyed by some sort of nuclear devise (Isaiah 29, 5, 6). Will that come from Saudi Arabia? More specifically, will it come from Mount Sinai in Arabia?
Isaiah indicates that in resolving this dispute, NO ONE will get Jerusalem in the end, for Jerusalem is Hagar and must be cast out along with her spiritual sons (Galatians 4:30). This makes perfect sense if the city is nuked, for then it would be impossible for anyone to live there.
