Defending yourself from an Ebola pandemic

In the past month there have been reports about the Ebola virus spreading rapidly in West Africa and how it could easily spread to the rest of the world by airline passengers.

This is obviously a huge threat, and it appears that it is only a matter of time before Ebola becomes a worldwide pandemic. It is almost impossible to treat with standard antibiotics. Further, the use of antibiotics over the past decades, which have been used to kill bacteria by poisoning them, has only served to cause those bacteria and viruses to mutate so that they can survive those poisonous drugs.

It seems that God has built into nature the ability to defend itself through mutations. Medical experts have said for years that their drugs are only buying time until they become largely useless in their ability to kill bacteria and viruses.

So now we see the Ebola Virus threatening not only West Africa but also the planet itself. Where it came from is not my concern, whether it was man-made or natural. Either way, it is something that we will have to deal with. Obviously, the first line of defense is prayer. But I have often found that prayer results in revelation about what to do or where to find a natural solution that God has built into His creation.

A century ago, before the rise of drug companies, the people used colloidal silver to fight infection and bacteria. Then in the 1920’s and 1930’s, natural antibacterial substances were replaced by patented drugs that were heavily advertised in order to make money for the drug companies. Colloidal silver and all other natural substances, which could not be patented, fell into disuse.

In the 21^st century, however, it seems that antibiotics as a whole are beginning to reach the end of their shelf life and are no longer practical. More and more deadly bacteria are killing people—even in hospitals—not because of a shortage of colloidal silver, but because much of the medical establishment refuses to use it. They continue to maintain confidence in antibacterial cleaning supplies that work poorly.

According to research, colloidal silver has the ability to kill the Ebola Virus, along with many other viruses and “deadly” bacteria. More and more, a supply of colloidal silver is becoming important in the face of failure in the medical establishment to provide a reasonable defense against these organisms.

The 1994 issue of "Newsweek" featured a six page article, "Antibiotics, The End of Miracle Drugs?" as the cover story.

"The rise of drug-resistant germs is unparalleled in recorded history", according to the article. "Penicillin and tetracycline lost their power over staph back in the 1950's and 60's. Another antibiotic, methicillin, provided a backup for a while, but methicillin-resistant staph is now common in hospitals and nursing homes worldwide. Trying to cripple bacteria's defenses will not do much more than buy us five to ten years. A better strategy might be to abandon antibiotics altogether in favor of different kinds of drugs."

 Laboratory tests have shown CS to kill over 650 destructive bacteria, viruses and fungi within minutes of contact.

UCLA ran some tests on Colloidal Silver and their report states: "The silver solutions were antibacterial for Streptococcus pyogenes, Staphylococcus aureus, Neisseria gonorrhea, Gardnerella Vaginalis, Salmonella Typhi, and other enteric pathogens, fungicidal for Candida albicans, Candida globata, and M. furfur, and it killed every virus that was tested in the lab"….

Silver does not attack bacteria directly, but rather decomposes certain enzymes the anaerobic bacteria, viruses, yeast, and molds require. The silver acts as a catalyst and is not consumed in the process. It is probable that this indirect action is also the reason bacteria cannot develop a resistance to silver, as they do to antibiotics.

Side Effects: Argyria

Some researchers do tell us, however, that in prolonged, very heavy doses, some silver compounds will leave gray deposits in the heavier skin folds such as the knuckles. This condition is known as "Argyria". The only problem to these deposits is said to be the cosmetic appearance and the condition is said to be rare. Some experts say this condition has never been known to occur from silver in the colloidal state. Other experts do, however, warn that this might be a problem with extremely high, prolonged dosages (such as drinking many quarts of CS per day over months of time). The very small particle size in the Colloidal Silver would seem to make this possibility remote. Argyria is correctable with laser treatment, like a tattoo. (It should be noted that there has been only one case of Argyria reported in the world in the last 100 years.)

To avoid argyria, you may not want to consume “many quarts of CS per day over months of time.” The argyria scare is just a fear tactic designed to keep you hooked on drugs. No one would drink that much colloidal silver unless they were participating in an experiment. Secondly, that one person who did develop argyria in the past century had only a cosmetic problem (gray spots). It is likely that he or she never developed a bacterial infection! In fact, it seems likely that he/she would have been immune to Ebola.

Furthermore, the article says, “There has never been a reported reaction with Colloidal Silver to any prescription medication."

The drug companies want to sell drugs and certainly do not want to advertise an inexpensive natural substance that competes with their products and cannot be patented. In my view, the best strategy is not only to abandon antibiotics altogether, but to look for a solution that does not allow these superbugs to mutate into something stronger.

People can still purchase colloidal silver at a health food store, but the government has already tried to stop it in 1998. Though it failed, there is no guarantee that the government will not try again. The best solution is to make or purchase your own device to make your own colloidal silver.
