Darla and I arrived home last night at 6:00 p.m.
What an adventure this trip was! Going to Dallas, we ran into a storm of frozen rain just before Oklahoma City. We drove 5 mph through OK City and then about 40 mph the rest of the way, arriving at our daughter’s house at 8:30 p.m. on December 4.
Early the next morning, the electric power was cut off, but fortunately it was restored (for our daughter’s house) by late afternoon on the 5th. Others had to suffer through the cold weather for a few more days.
No doubt most of you heard about the ice storm that hit Dallas and then moved to the east coast. One of our speakers, Diane Padilla from New Mexico, could not come to the conference, because of the ice. Len and Barbara came down from Oklahoma last Wednesday and stayed at their daughter’s house, but they were unable to get to the hotel for the conference until Sunday noon. Then they came to say hello and goodbye, because they wanted to get home before dark.
The conference itself, however, was very good. The hardiest 35 people showed up, although I think the most we had at any given time was 27. The teachings were recorded and will be available shortly. When I am given the information about how and where to order the recordings, I will let you know. Please do not order directly from me.
Before I left last week, I finished the sixth book on Deuteronomy, “Domestic Laws.” This is now available for $15 each. You can order by mail or by email as usual, using PayPal. We will post it shortly on the Bible Study Storehouse site. I was able to finish this book when the heater in my office was not working. Because the temperature went down to 52 degrees, and the next day to 49 degrees, I was unable to get my fingers to work properly on the keyboard, so I went home and worked from there to finish this book. Apparently, our Heavenly Father felt that this project was important enough to turn off the heat.
Revelation from the Conference
It seems that in most conferences there is a particular revelation that is released, and this conference was one of those times.
Darla and I had a prayer-and-discernment session with Wayne and Bonnie Lynn last Saturday between the afternoon and evening sessions. (We did the same a year ago at the Dallas conference, which revealed some very important things that God wanted us to know.) I shared these things in my third teaching at the hotel on Sunday, but will give you a summary of them here.
In the laws of tribulation in Leviticus 26, Moses revealed that when Israel broke the covenant, they were to be sent into captivity for “seven times.” God revealed ahead of time the length of the divine sentence and the time that the beast nations would be given dominion over the Western world.
Daniel 7:25 shows that a “time” was a set period of time in the context of the span of time that the “little horn” was given dominion. John expands upon this in Revelation 13, showing that 3 ½ “times” is 42 months (Revelation 13:5), or 1,260 “days.” In other words, a prophetic month is thirty days—or thirty YEARS in long-term prophecy.
And so, we see from biblical history that in 607 B.C. God raised up Babylon, the first of the beast empires in the series listed in Daniel 7. Babylon then conquered Jerusalem in 604 B.C. These two dates (607/604) begin the “seven times” contract, wherein God gave dominion to these beast nations.
This “seven times” of dominion extended from 607 B.C. to 1914 A.D. But instead of ending, as one would normally expect, we saw the establishment of the Federal Reserve Bank, which extended our captivity for another century to the present time. The Federal Reserve Act was passed on December 23, 1913, and its hundredth anniversary is due in about two weeks on December 23, 2013.
The reason for the “extension of life,” prophesied in Daniel 7:12, is because Judah and Jerusalem were independent of beast rule from 163 to 63 B.C. after Antiochus Epiphanes desecrated the temple. The Judeans threw off the rule of Syria (part of the Grecian beast) in 163 B.C. and remained independent until Rome took Jerusalem in 63 B.C. Thus, the 2,520-year contract was suspended for a century, on account of Antiochus’ desecration, and this time had to be added at the end from 1913/14 to 2013/14.
It appears that we are now at the end of this time period. Of course, keep in mind that Jerusalem was originally captured by Babylon in 604 B.C., which was three years after Babylon became an empire in 607. If we date things from 604 B.C., then the 2,520 year contract should have ended in 1916/1917, and the added century would take us to 2016/2017. So in the big picture, we will probably see some sort of 3-year transition in the fall of Babylon.
I have no doubt, however, that the transition has already begun as of November 14-30, 2013, and we may even see another sign show up on the hundredth anniversary of the Federal Reserve Act.
The Little Horn
As for the “little horn” of Daniel 7:8, 11, 12, 20, 25, the prophet seems to spend more time on this final beast manifestation than on any other of the beast-nations. Perhaps it was because Daniel was most curious about this beast (Daniel 7:19). The prophet says that it would arise out of the iron-toothed kingdom (Roman Empire). It would also make war on the saints and overcome them until the time came for the saints to receive the dominion from the beast system.
In other words, the transfer of authority (dominion) would occur after 2,520 years of beast rule. That time is now upon us—or at least, the start of it. We should see the transfer of dominion occur over a three-year time period from now until the end of 2016.
The War is Over
This brings me to the specific revelation that came to us during our prayer/discernment session last Saturday evening. The little horn has made war with the saints during its entire time of dominion (1480 years, as I explained in previous weeks). But on November 14-30, 2013 the transfer of authority occurred, and on December 7 we were led to declare peace. The war against the saints is over. Daniel 7:21, 22 says,
21 I kept looking, and that horn was waging war with the saints and overpowering them 22 until the Ancient of Days came, and judgment was passed in favor of the saints of the Highest One, and the time arrived when the saints took possession of the kingdom.
Of course, this revelation is not yet known universally. Only a few people know of it at this time. With this posting, thousands more will know of it, assuming that people believe it. The followers of the “little horn” will probably be the last to believe it, but in the end they too will understand and be glad. It will be interesting to assess the situation three years from now.
Our first appeal to receive this dominion came on November 29, 1993 during the Jubilee Prayer Campaign. Although our appeal was won, it took 20 years to complete. On November 14-30, 1996 we saw the first major sign of this transfer of dominion when the Coronation Stone was transferred from London to Edinburgh. On Nov. 29/30, 2000 we saw a fuller transfer of authority at the end of the 7 ½ year transition from Saul to David.
With the completion of this transfer of authority in 2013, we must now seek God’s face to know how to use this authority and what to do with it. It is important to align all of our actions with His perfect will, rather than seek to establish our own will or to do what we think God ought to do.
If there is anything we have learned over the years, it is that we are to be the Amen people of God. We are not to make God the Amen of men, for that usurps authority and is characteristic of antichrist.
Being Ambassadors of the Kingdom
When Jesus paid the price for the sin of the world at the cross, He also reconciled all of creation, making peace with all enemies. Paul tells us that we are called as ambassadors of the Kingdom. We are sent to the world with a message of peace that the world does not yet know or understand. 2 Corinthians 5:18-20 says,
18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ, and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were entreating through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
We now can apply this more specifically in our present context, because the war against the saints has now ended. Well, not exactly. We are doing what Jesus did as a result of His reconciliation at the cross. Just as He declared peace to the world in the overall sense, so also have we declared peace to those who have made war against the saints. Our declaration is more specific and applies to the corrupt church of the “little horn” that has waged war against the overcomers. It is David declaring peace to the House of Saul.
The Babylonian Banking System is Bankrupt
Daniel 5 gives us the prophetic pattern for the fall of Babylon. In verses 1-4 the king of Babylon had a drunken orgy (perhaps a birthday party for the king), drinking wine from the temple vessels. In other words, they drank Babylonian wine (doctrine, teachings) while pretending to be biblical.
That was the problem in the long-term picture, but in the context of the Federal Reserve Bank, we have seen in recent years the drunken orgy of money creation through QE1, QE2, and QE3 to infinity. This is the setup for the soon-coming bankruptcy of the western banking system.
While Belshazzar was drinking, a hand appeared out of nowhere and wrote on the wall: Mene, Mene, Tekel, Upharsin (or Peres). Daniel interpreted it for the king in terms of bankruptcy proceedings:
Mene: Your kingdom has been audited (“numbered”).
Tekel: Your debits exceed your credits.
Peres: You will be sold at the auction to the Medes and Persians.
If we translate these words into Hebrew, we find that they are monetary terms. And if we add them together, they total 2,520 gerahs (like our pennies).
Mina: 1000 gerahs
Mina: 1000 gerahs
Shekel: 20 gerahs (Exodus 30:13)
Peres: 500 gerahs
Total: 2,520 gerahs
I understand this to mean that Babylon was to fall that very night, but in long-term prophecy, Babylon was to fall at the end of its 2,520 year contract from the divine court. In other words, Babylon should fall from 2013/14 to 2016/17.
The fall of Babylon has now begun, for the beast system has now reached the beginning of the end of its 2,520-year contract. In Daniel’s time, the kings of the east were Cyrus of Persia and Darius of Media. Today God has raised up new eastern kings to accomplish His purpose (Revelation 16:12). They are bringing in a new banking system with asset-based currencies to replace the fiat money that is currently being used and which has almost no backing.
Hence, there will soon be a global currency reset, with all currencies being revalued according to a nation’s actual worth. After Bernanke’s drunken orgy of QE to infinity, there is little doubt that the US dollar will be devalued in this changeover. The dollar amount in bank accounts will remain the same, but its buying power will be reduced. In other words, everything will cost more.
The more we know of this, the better prepared we can be for the days ahead. Even so, the most important preparation is spiritual. The more we know of the Word and of the divine plan, the better prepared we will be to provide stability and comfort to those who are afraid of what is happening.
The really good news is not so much the collapse and bankruptcy of Babylon, but the transfer of dominion to the saints of the Most High. Not many will be ready for this, but we are doing what we can to prepare ourselves as ambassadors of the Kingdom.
